For week three I need to have three ideas set in place and complete a ‘elevator pitch’ (about 30 seconds each).
In week two it was also mentioned to document these ideas to share with my lecturer to get a better understanding before the pitches.
At this point I have a good idea for a direction for my collectable idea focusing on buying, searching and finding rather than the ‘add to your collection’.
For the A&E idea I want to expand on this to explain my idea better and how I plan for this to work. I am still unsure about this one but I will document it and see what feedback I get in week 3.
I also need to plan one more idea, I did have the record idea however I want to come up with something different as I have already received feedback on this very early on. Some topics I want to explore is costume community/prop making and maybe one to do with autographs, but I want to ensure this is different enough from my ‘dragons den’ idea pitch from year 2.
I am quite confident on my vision for my collectable idea and A&E ideas and how I want them to work so I just need one idea.
I started looking at costuming, cosplay groups and prop making which is something I take part in and would have plenty of users to interview and test with.
