For this project I have to create a interactive Dashboard to present data of a ‘week of my life’. The whole point of creating this dashboard is that if someone was to use it, they would have a great understanding of what I done in one week.
As I knew this project was coming from from week one and reminded of ‘the next project will be given out next week’ from the previous week I started recording data from Friday the 7th of March as I was visiting London that weekend. I decided on doing the week before it was handed out as it would be more interesting, with way more content I could include. I am glad I did this as the week it was handed out, I still recorded notes which there was very little compared to the previous week, which I would then struggle with content to include.
As I am specifically choosing this week, I will focus on a ‘travel’ section to show places I visited and colour code different forums of transport I took in that week.

Now that I have all my data together in different days, I then started to note what main sections I could have in my dashboard. After looking through all my notes I settled on having Travel (including Transport), Media, Steps, Sleep, Spendings with a space for a calendar of what week was recorded.
Before sketching ideas I also created a mood board of dashboards and different ways to present data I liked to have a better understanding on how they looked and what I can do.

I now have a idea on how much different sections I want in my home page and menu so I then went to sketch different layouts.
