For this project I have to create a five page UX Audit by choosing one of three websites which to begin this project I looked into these three sites.
This included Translink, Northern Ireland government website and the Ulster University Student Portal. From quickly looking at these I think I will go with the UU portal as I quickly found some issues and began generating ideas pretty quickly.
Using the website to see how well it functions, I found a very poor search system and clickable buttons which were not actual buttons. I also noticed the icons were pretty small and look like they were randomly floating and were quite small.
I also noticed some of the colour choices looked quite poor which I tested and they didn’t contrast nicely, failing the tests.
I also found buttons and pages without real use, for example notifications and a ‘apps’ page in the nav bar with no use to it.

I created this to visualize the issues I found, which in the colours the one red square means it fails large text and the red rectangle fails small text for colour contrast
