This weeks lecture was very short, which it just covered more ways you can present data. I really liked the Johnny Cash animated video which was created by hundreds of fans putting their work together, this was a very unique way to show data.
Even sculptures can show data, in the lecture it was mentioned how different stages of a sculpture are presented which shows the data of it getting created.
This week I also completed round robin reviews which was sort of like speed dating for designers. I surprisingly found this task very useful to give feedback and to receive feedback on my own dashboard project. I asked lots of questions of what I was unsure of and others opinions which I actually took a lot of positives away from this task. I actually preferred this method over the standard critique as I prefer one to ones. This task really helped me with my design choices such as repositioning some areas, adding more elements etc. I am very pleased with this task which I found it very helpful to know what I could improve and change to enhance my work.
I have learned new ways which data can be presented, its not just charts and graphs it can be so much more. I have also learned new ways to improve my dashboard project by the round robin reviews.
