This was the first critique for my Smartwatch UI projects. At this point I have my lofi wire frames created which I hope to receive feedback on the layout itself as I an set on my idea. I also wanted feedback on the ‘pruning coach’ page as I am very uncertain about it.
This feedback was a 1:1 session which I found more useful at this stage to go in depth of my ideas and layouts.
During my feedback I was first recommended to change the layout of the ‘tree info’ page, removing the bars and changing them into circles. With this there could be different ways I could lay this out such as progress bars or the circles getting filled as if they were getting watered.
I was also told to remove the pruning coach entirely and replace it with something more simple such as a warning notification screen. This is completely understandable as I did want to try and set my app into the future but I realized that it was not necessary at all. A ‘warning’ would also fit with the flow very well too.
Overall I am very happy with all my feedback and this really helped me with the overall direction I need to go to deliver my work next week for the final critique.
