This weeks lecture was a introduction to creating a good portfolio focusing on the user, for example to use simple words and not to write too much.

I did find this lecture one of the most important and educational so far as this would be my first time creating a proper portfolio.

How to structure a case study

The most important thing of a portfolio is to showcase my work and to include every detail to show my thinking progress to the user (which is something the employers always bring up).

In a case study I should include the following:

1.Overview

  1. Problem statement

  2. Users and audience

  3. Roles and responsibilities

  4. Scope and constraints

  5. Process and what you did

  6. Outcomes and lessons

There was also ‘Top Tips’ included on the lecture notes which I think are very useful.

  1. Context is key (Headlines)
