This was the last week of the semester which in this lecture I had to come in for 11 for my group to present our final project pitches. I arrived early just to make sure everything was working and loaded ok as I have had some issues in the past with connection, however I made my slides in power point so this should not affect me anyway.
Previous to this I also set up my laptop settings to the projector so it would display on the screen without showing my notes.
Going into this presentation I wanted to try and apply some of the tips from this semester which I think benefited me greatly and lowered my overall nerves. I also think the setup for the pitch was better for me with a smaller audience which was defiantly less overwhelming for me.
I think I done very well, espcially with controlling my nerves as I am usually very shaky which I did deliver all I had to say with only slightly going over the time limit. I did practice plenty at home which ranged between 30 seconds below, sometimes spot on and sometimes 30 seconds late. I do think this was due to talking to live people I was throwing more in there to try and engage a bit more.
